The Diadem cut your topper wig

toppers wigs are sold unprocessed, meaning they have never been cut. The lengths, especially at the back, are therefore not even. Furthermore, at the front of the face, the fact that there is no layering can result in a "Kad Merad effect" (=Kad Merad imitating Hélène Ségara, for those who don't get the reference).

Placing the stripe on the side to break the symmetry already helps considerably to limit this effect.

But thinning out the lengths around the face is important to achieve a natural look. Because no one naturally has this type of cut. That's where the Diadem cut !

At Comme un diadème, you receive personalized support. You can send any questions you may have to contact@commeundiademe.com using the contact form. You can also send photos of your hair (or alopecia) via the support form to receive advice on the color, base size, or length of topper.

As Diadème does not have a store or commercial premises, it is solely an e-commerce site. However, you are not alone when making your purchase and can receive advice on color, base size, and length based on your photos by sending them via the support form. After ordering the topper, you can try it on at home and return it if it does not suit you, within the 14-day withdrawal period.

Social security does not reimburse hair prostheses made from natural hair that cost more than €700.

Payment in 4 installments with no fees is possible via PayPal.

All out-of-stock models are restocked on a regular basis. However, it is not possible to give a precise restocking time for each model. If you are interested in a particular model, we recommend that you sign up for restock alerts so that you will receive an email as soon as the product is available again on the website.

Orders are delivered within 10 days in mainland France, Belgium, and Switzerland. For international orders, delivery times may be slightly longer.

You must exercise your right of withdrawal using the withdrawal form. After returning the product, you will be refunded within 10 days of receipt at the Comme un diadème premises.

We use natural Brazilian "Remy" hair. The term "Remy" means that the hair and cuticles of the strand are oriented in the same direction on the topper. This is in contrast to non-Remy hair, which is assembled in bulk. As a result, it is more prone to tangling and damage.

You should choose the basic size of the topper the extent of your alopecia and the hair density you wish to achieve. It is preferable that the clips are not attached in the area of alopecia, as the scalp may be quite sensitive. In addition, extensive alopecia will require a high hair density to compensate for the low initial density.

For extensive alopecia, we recommend bases measuring 18 × 18 cm or 20 × 20 cm. These bases will provide effective coverage, density, and comfort. Larger bases are available for very extensive alopecia.

Smaller bases (15×15 cm) will give your hair a little less density. But they will make it easier to tie your hair up in a high ponytail.

We offer toppers a density between 120 and 130%. This density is considered standard among international brands.

The hair is straight. Except when it is indicated in the product description and title that the model is naturally wavy or curly.

The lifespan of a topper in part on how well it is cared for. The typical lifespan is between one and two years. To extend the lifespan of your topper, do not wash it too frequently.

The topper be brushed carefully after wearing. It is convenient to place it on a wig head. This prevents the hair from becoming creased before the next use.

Hair should not be washed too frequently. Every 4 weeks or more is a good frequency. Close the clips before washing the hair and detangle the hair before and after washing. If you have dry ends, we recommend adding a little argan oil to moisturize the hair fiber.

Natural hair can be heated, straightened, and curled without any problems. However, as with your own hair, you should not overdo it so as not to damage the hair fiber.

Are you interested in a model that is not available in the Comme un diadème catalog?

At Comme un diadème, custom orders for out-of-stock products are possible.

It is important to note that custom orders are not eligible for return as they are made at the specific request of the customer. In addition, delivery times may be long for this type of order (approximately 3 months).
